Ingredients and quantity

  • Grated coconut – 100gms.
  • Black gram dal – 5gms.
  • Bengal gram dal – 5gms.
  • Mustard seeds – 3gms.
  • Green chillies slit – 8gms.
  • Oil – 10ml.
  • Ginger – 5gms.
  • Curry leaves – 2sprigs
  • Salt – To taste

Method of preparation

  1. Grate the coconut, add green chillies, ginger and salt. Grind well.
  2. Temper the chutney by heating oil, add mustard seeds and crackle. Adding Bengal gram dal, black gram dal, curry leaves and add to the ground chutney.
