Ingredients and quantity

  • Ragi flour – 200gms.
  • Coconut – 1no.
  • Salt – 10gms.
  • Palm sugar – 100gms.
  • Cardamom – 3-4nos.

Method of preparation

  1. Broil the ragi flour. (cooking without oil)
  2. Grate the coconut.
  3. Add salt & water to the flour and mix without any lumps.
  4. Cook it in a puttu maker (steam).
  5. Serve the puttu hot mixed with grated coconut, palm sugar & powdered cardamom.
