Ingredients and quantity
- Parboiled rice – 200g
- Whole black gram – 50g
- Fenugreek seeds- 10g
- Mutton – 250g
- Shallots – 100g
- Ginger – 10g
- Garlic – 10g
- Red Chillies – 5 Nos.
- Curry leaves – few
- Coriander powder – 15g
Method of preparation
- Soak rice, whole black gram, fenugreek seeds for 30 minutes.
- Grind the mixture to thick pouring consistency, keep the batter aside.
- Chop ginger, garlic and shallots. remove the stalk of red chillies, finely chop mutton cubes.
- Heat oil add chop ginger, garlic curry leaves, add shallots, chop mutton cubes, coriander powder and little salt.
- Saute well add little water and cook till the mutton is done.
- Make a thick pancake with batter, a non stick pan cook on both sides. Now top one side with prepare mutton mixture.
- Serve hot.
