Ingredients and quantity
- Chicken – 1kg.
- Coconut milk – ½ ltr.
- Choppped onions – 250gms.
- Ginger – 20gms.
- Garlic – 20gms.
- Red chillies – 20gms.
- Fenugreek seeds – 5gms.
- Cloves – 3gms.
- Cinnamon – 3gms.
- Cinnamon – 3gms.
- Tamarind extract – 20gms.
- Ghee – 30ml.
- Turmeric powder – 3gms.
- Coriander leaves – 5gms.
- Salt – to taste.
Method of preparation
- Dry roast red chilies, fenugreek seeds, cloves and cinnamon. Keep them aside.
- Heat ghee add ginger, garlic, onions. Brown grated coconut.
- Add the powdered masalas and chicken. Saute them.
- Add the tamarind pulp and Coconut milk.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
