Ingredients and quantity

  • Chicken – 1kg.
  • Coconut milk – ½ ltr.
  • Choppped onions – 250gms.
  • Ginger – 20gms.
  • Garlic – 20gms.
  • Red chillies – 20gms.
  • Fenugreek seeds – 5gms.
  • Cloves – 3gms.
  • Cinnamon – 3gms.
  • Cinnamon – 3gms.
  • Tamarind extract – 20gms.
  • Ghee – 30ml.
  • Turmeric powder – 3gms.
  • Coriander leaves – 5gms.
  • Salt – to taste.

Method of preparation

  1. Dry roast red chilies, fenugreek seeds, cloves and cinnamon. Keep them aside.
  2. Heat ghee add ginger, garlic, onions. Brown grated coconut.
  3. Add the powdered masalas and chicken. Saute them.
  4. Add the tamarind pulp and Coconut milk.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
