Ingredients and quantity

  • Pomfret fish – 1kg.
  • Turmeric powder – 2gms.
  • Salt – to taste
  • Lemon – 4nos.
  • Pepper powder – 10gms.
  • Green chilly paste – 10gms.
  • Oil – 25ml.
  • Ginger garlic paste – 25gms.
  • Onions 50gms.
  • Curry leaves – 2 sprigs
  • Coconut milk – 300ml.
  • Coriander leaves – for garnish
  • Potato – 250gms.

Method of preparation

  1. Marinate the fish with turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice green chilly paste and white pepper powder.
  2. Heat coconut oil, fry the fish and set aside.
  3. In the same oil Add the curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, onions, potato and add salt.
  4. Add the fish and add the coconut milk. Bring to boil. Garnish with coriander leaves.
