Ingredients and quantity

  • Mutton bones – 100gms.
  • Bengalgram dal – 75gms.
  • Toor dal – 75gms.
  • Onions – 35gms.
  • Tomatoes – 35gms.
  • Potatoes – 50gms.
  • Brinjal – 50gms.
  • Raw Mango – 50gms.
  • Ginger & garlic paste – 10gms.
  • Cinnamon / Cardamom / Cloves – 5gms.
  • Chilli powder – 6gms.
  • Coriander powder – 12gms.
  • Cumin powder – 5gms.
  • Tamarind pulp – 10gms.
  • Curry leaves – 3gms.
  • Coriander leaves – 3gms.
  • Oil – 20ml.
  • Salt – To taste

  • Tamarind pulp – 10gms.

Method of preparation

  1. Soak, wash and boil the dal.
  2. Heat oil add cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, ginger & garlic onions, tomatoes, chilli powder, coriander powder, mutton bones, potatoes, brinjal, raw mango, salt and tamarind pulp.
  3. Add the dal and garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with Biriyani.
