Ingredients and quantity

  • Minced Mutton – 1kg.
  • Ginger garlic paste – 20gms.
  • Butter – 10gms.
  • Papaya paste – 75gms.
  • Chilli powder – 3gms.
  • Garam masala powder – 3gms.
  • Bengal gram dal. – 125gms.
  • Chopped onions – 75gms.
  • Salt – to taste
  • Oil – for frying.
  • Mint chutney
  • Mint leaves – 100gms.
  • Curry leaves – 5gms.
  • Grated Coconut – 50gms.
  • Mustard seeds – 2gms.
  • Black gram dal – 4gms.
  • Bengal gram dal – 10gms.
  • Curd – 20ml.
  • Tamarind – 5gms.
  • Oil – 5ml.
  • Garlic – 5gms.

Method of preparation

  1. Soak the dal and grind coarsely.
  2. Add ginger garlic paste. Add all the other ingredients.
  3. Deep fry the flattened kababs
  4. Serve the Kebabs with onion rings and mint chutney.
  5. Chutney Method:
  6. Heat oil. Add mustard seeds, let it crackle add the garlic, Bengal gram dal, black gram dal, curry leaves, mint leaves, tamarind, and when it is cooked remove and allow it to rest.
  7. Grind all with curd and grated coconut.
