postheadericon Gosht Korma

Ingredients and quantity

  • Mutton cubes – 650gms
  • Cardamom powder – 3gms.
  • Onions – 320gms.
  • Tomatoes (pureed) – 120gms.
  • Salt – to taste.
  • Ghee – 40ml.
  • Cashewnut paste – 20gms.
  • Green chilli – 10gms.
  • Ginger – 20gms.
  • Garlic – 20gms.
  • Garam masala – 8gms.
  • Saffron – 1gm.
  • Curd – 120ml.
  • Oil – 50ml.
  • Garam masala – 5gms.

Method of preparation

  1. Marinate the mutton with ginger garlic paste and slit green chillies.
  2. Heat oil and ghee together and add the mutton, onions and tomato puree.
  3. Add the cashewnut paste, salt and cardamom powder.
  4. Add water and cook till the mutton is tender. Finally add the garam masala and salt.
  5. Finish it with cream.
