Ingredients and quantity
- Wheat flour – 300gms.
- Oil – 30ml.
- salt – To taste.
- Butter / clarified butter – 20gms.
- Potatoes – 100gms.
- Onions – 30gms.
- Green chillies – 4gms.
- Cumin – 4gms.
- Garam masala – 3gms.
- Coriander powder – 5gms.
- Coriander leaves – 3gms.
- Garlic – 3gms.
Method of preparation
- Mix butter or clarified butter, salt, wheat flour and adequate amount of water to knead smooth dough.
- Boil and mash the potatoes.
- Heat oil add chopped garlic, onions, green chillies, boiled potatoes, cumin, coriander powder, garam masala, coriander leaves and salt.
- Now sheet the dough make equal sized balls, smear them with dry flour and roll them out on a rolling board. Put the stuffing in side and roll them again and sheet them without the filling coming out.
- Heat a griddle. Put the paratha on it. Use ghee for griddling.
- Serve accompanied with curd and pickle.
