Ingredients and quantity

  • Wheat flour – 300gms.
  • Oil – 30ml.
  • salt – To taste.
  • Butter / clarified butter – 20gms.
  • Potatoes – 100gms.
  • Onions – 30gms.
  • Green chillies – 4gms.
  • Cumin – 4gms.
  • Garam masala – 3gms.
  • Coriander powder – 5gms.
  • Coriander leaves – 3gms.
  • Garlic – 3gms.

Method of preparation

  1. Mix butter or clarified butter, salt, wheat flour and adequate amount of water to knead smooth dough.
  2. Boil and mash the potatoes.
  3. Heat oil add chopped garlic, onions, green chillies, boiled potatoes, cumin, coriander powder, garam masala, coriander leaves and salt.
  4. Now sheet the dough make equal sized balls, smear them with dry flour and roll them out on a rolling board. Put the stuffing in side and roll them again and sheet them without the filling coming out.
  5. Heat a griddle. Put the paratha on it. Use ghee for griddling.
  6. Serve accompanied with curd and pickle.
