Ingredients and quantity
- Refined flour (Maida) – 750gms.
- Semolina (Rava) – 250gms.
- Milk – 60ml.
- Clarified butter (Ghee) – 30ml.
- Cardamom – 6gms.
- Dry ginger powder – 3gms.
- Sugar – 20gms.
- Salt – 8gms.
- Butter – 100gms.
Method of preparation
- Mix the refined flour, semolina, milk, ghee, green cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, sugar, and salt thoroughly.
- Gradually, add water and knead into a smooth dough. Divide the dough equally into 8 portions and shape each into balls. Roll out each ball into a 6″ diameter.
- Cook on a griddle (tawa) until brown on all sides.
- Smear some butter and serve hot.
