Ingredients and quantity

  • Wheat flour – 150gms.
  • Oil – 30ml.
  • salt – To taste.
  • Butter / clarified butter – 10gms.

Method of preparation

  1. Mix butter or clarified butter, salt, wheat flour and adequate amount of water to knead smooth dough.
  2. Leave it for an hour. Make equal sized balls, smear them with dry flour and roll them out on a rolling board.
  3. Heat a griddle. Put the phulka on it.
  4. Use a phulka puffer and place the half griddle done phulka and toss on a direct flame.
  5. Serve hot.
