Arasa ilai kolukkattai
Ingredients and quantity
- raw rice flour (preferably idiappam flour) – 250gms.
- Bengal Gram Dhal – 100gms.
- Jaggery – 75gms.
- Salt – 15gms.
- Ghee – 50gms
- Arasa ilai – 4Nos.
Method of preparation
- Put the flour in a vessel and add hot water.
- Boil the dhal (half boil) and allow it to dried.
- Mix the jaggery with the split dhal.
- Stuff the mixture inside the dough and close it.
- Apply the ghee on the Arasa ilai and steam it in a steamer until done.
