postheadericon Maravalli kizhangu kara kuli paniyaaram

Ingredients and quantity

  • Tapioca (Maravalli kizhangu) – 500gms.
  • Shallots – 50gms.
  • Anise seeds – 1tsp
  • Coconut – 1no
  • Red chillies – 8nos.
  • Curry leaves – a sprig
  • Oil – 100ml.
  • Salt – 2tsp.

Method of preparation

  1. Grate the maravalli kizhangu.
  2. Anise seeds, red chillies, water and grind it.
  3. Then add the coconut and grind it nicely.
  4. Then add the grated tapioca (maravalli kizhangu).
  5. Then add chopped shallots,curry leaves,
  6. Make it to idly batter consistency add salt.
  7. Then take the kuli paniyara kadai pour some oil
  8. pour the batter to cook very well in both sides and then serve hot.
