Ingredients and quantity
- Tapioca (Maravalli kizhangu) – 500gms.
- Shallots – 50gms.
- Anise seeds – 1tsp
- Coconut – 1no
- Red chillies – 8nos.
- Curry leaves – a sprig
- Oil – 100ml.
- Salt – 2tsp.
Method of preparation
- Grate the maravalli kizhangu.
- Anise seeds, red chillies, water and grind it.
- Then add the coconut and grind it nicely.
- Then add the grated tapioca (maravalli kizhangu).
- Then add chopped shallots,curry leaves,
- Make it to idly batter consistency add salt.
- Then take the kuli paniyara kadai pour some oil
- pour the batter to cook very well in both sides and then serve hot.
