Ingredients and quantity
- Raw rice – 250gms.
- Mullumurungai Keerai – 1bunch
- Shallots – 75gms.
- Green chilly – 2nos.
- Cumin – 2tsp.
- Oil – 50ml.
- Salt – To taste
Method of preparation
- Wash and soak rice for an hour Wash and clean the green leaves, add to rice and grind with rice to a coarse mixture.
- Add cumin, chopped shallots and green chilly finely then add to the mixture, mix well and set aside for half an hour.
- Heat the tawa and prepare the adai as like pancakes with oil.
- Serve hot with onion and tamarind thuvaiyal.
