Ingredients and quantity
- Green gram – 25gms.
- Horse gram – 25gms.
- Bengal gram – 25gms.
- Ragi – 25gms.
- Butter beans – 25gms.
- Stringed bean – 25gms.
- Millet – 25gms.
- Maize – 25gms.
- Black gram dal – 25gms.
- Shallots – 25gms.
- Green chilli – 10gms.
- Curry leaves – 2sprigs
- Coriander leaves – ΒΌ bunch
- Fennel – 3gms.
- Salt – 2gms.
- Oil – for frying
Method of preparation
- Wash and soak all the grains overnight (minimum 3 hours).
- Grind coarsely in a blender.
- To the ground mixture add chopped shallots, green chilies, fennel, salt, and curry leaves.
- Make round balls of the mixture, shape it to a flat form, deep fry till golden brown and serve hot.
