Ingredients and quantity

  • Shrimp – ¼ Kg
  • Coriander powder – 25gms
  • Coriander leaves – 2 sprig
  • Curry leaves – 2 sprig
  • Idly Rice – ½ kg
  • Salt – to taste
  • Cumin Powder – 25gms
  • Cinnamon – 2gms
  • Cardamom – 2gms
  • Cloves – 2gms
  • Horse gram – 100gms.

Method of preparation

  1. Roast and boil horse gram separately.
  2. Boil the shrimp and use that water to cook the rice.
  3. Heat oil, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, coriander powder, cumin powder, curry leaves, coriander leaves.
  4. The add the fully boiled rice into it and serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.
