Pumpkin halwa
Ingredients and quantity
- Red pumpkin – 200gms.
- Sugar – 90gms.
- Cashew nuts – 20gms.
- Raisins – 20gms.
- Clarified butter – 50ml.
- Oil – 10ml.
- Orange red colour – ½ gms.
- Cardamom powder – 2gms.
- Mava – 75gms.
Method of preparation
- Sauté the grated pumpkin. Add mava and little water.
- Heat oil and clarified butter and fry the cashew nuts and raisins separately.
- Add sugar and add the colour. Add cardamom powder.
- Garnish with cashew nuts and raisins.
