Ingredients and quantity
- Potato – 100gms.
- Green chillies – 10gms.
- Coriander leaves – 2sprigs.
- Bengal gram flour – 100gms.
- Salt – To taste
- Red chilli powder – 5gms.
- Oil – For frying
- Garam masala powder – 3gms.
- Turmeric powder – 3gms.
- Asafoetida – 2gms.
- Rice flour – 20gms.
- Mustard seeds – 3gms.
- Onions chopped – 30gms.
Method of preparation
- Boil the potatoes and break them to chunks and keep aside.
- Heat oil add mustard seeds and crackle. Add curry leaves, green chillies, chopped onions, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, asafoetida, coriander leaves, and broken potatoes.
- Make in to balls and keep aside. Make batter with Bengal gram flour, rice flour and salt.
- Now dip the balls in batter and fry them in hot oil and serve hot.
