Ingredients and quantity

  • Potatoes – 200gms.
  • Green peas (fresh) – 80gms.
  • Oil – 20gms.
  • Ground cumin – 10gms.
  • Salt – To taste
  • Ginger – 10gms.
  • Green chillies – 4nos.
  • Coriander leaves – 4gms.
  • Red chilli power – 10gms.
  • Turmeric powder – 5gms.
  • Garam masala – 5gms.
  • Chat masala – 5gms.

Method of preparation

  1. Wash and peel and boil the potatoes with salt.
  2. Mash the potatoes.
  3. Heat oil in a kadai, add green peas, chopped green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, chat masala and garam masala.
  4. Make tikkis of 3″ diameter.
  5. In a hot griddle plate tawa fry and serve hot.
