Ingredients and quantity
- Bengal gram flour – 200gms.
- Rice flour – 40gms.
- Green chillies – 5gms.
- Small onions / shallots – 25gms.
- Asafoetida – 3gms.
- Salt – To taste
- Oil – For frying
- Garlic pound with skin – 25gms.
- Curry leaves – 4sprigs.
- Cumin – 5gms.
- Butter / dalda – 10gms.
- Soda bi carbonate – 3gms.
- Onions sliced with skin – 60gms.
Method of preparation
- Mix Bengal gram flour, rice flour, chopped green chillies, sliced shallots, asafoetida, salt, garlic beaten with skin, chopped curry leaves, cumin, soad bi carbonate, onions with skin and butter or hydrogenated oil.
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and sprinkle some water just before frying and sprinkle the mixture in oil and fry till crisp.
